Adesuwa Omoruan is dubbed the "queen of selfies" by her siblings. She confesses to taking more selfies than regulars photographs. When Adesuwa Omoruan was a child, she never thought or imagined herself becoming a broadcaster; it was the last thing she ever thought of becoming. As far as she was concerned, the lifestyle of reporters was not up to par with the kind of life she wanted, as the young dreamer that she was at the time. She wanted a life that was rich and full of the best life could offer, although she wasn't seeking a life that was necessarily flamboyant. "I just felt that journalist were not paid enough... My idea of a journalist wasn't just working at that time. Sometimes they looked very stressed, very few of them had cars... Growing up, I had this picture of what I wanted to be in life..." She had wanted to become a banker! As a child, she had taken trips to the bank with her mother on several occasions to cash-in her moth
- Take care of your body. Be as good as possible. Don't worry about minor problems. Look at me. I'm no Apollo, but I haven't wasted my time crying about my looks. Remember, you are never as ugly as you think.
- Eat moderately; when you have urgent work to do, avoid rich foods and wine. Spending hours at the dinner table, when work is also encroaching on your time, is still the best way of shortening your life.
- Wait for the evening to come and don't feast until your cogitations are over. Then have a good meal in the company of your friends and never talk business at the table.
- Do the exercise you require and stay fit. Basic yoga is advisable as much for your body as for your mind. If you can do judo one or two hours a week, this sport would get rid of all your complexes.
- Stay tanned even if you need a sunlamp to do it. For most people, a winter tan means you have just arrived from sunny spots and for everybody, sun means money.
- Once you have taken care of your physical appearance, choose a fancy lifestyle. Reside in a beautiful house even if you have to live in the attic; you will frequent rich people in the halls and elevator. Go to elegant cafes even if you have to sip one drink all night long. You will soon learn that solitude haunts those who manage to earn a lot of money.
- If you are short of money, borrow some. Never ask for a small amount. Ask for large ones and always pay them back as soon as possible if you can.
- Never confide your problems in anyone and always pretend you are having a good time.
- Don't sleep too much: upon waking up, you might tell yourself that you have failed. Three hours less sleep at night during a year will give you an extra month and a half to succeed.
