When Adesuwa Omoruan was a child, she never thought or imagined herself becoming a broadcaster; it was the last thing she ever thought of becoming. As far as she was concerned, the lifestyle of reporters was not up to par with the kind of life she wanted, as the young dreamer that she was at the time. Leading Lady- Gal Gadot is a True Wonderwoman

"I represent the Wonder Woman of the new world"
                                            -Gal Gadot

The woman every one has been talking about. She came (to Hollywood), she saw and it seems she has conquered already as her role playing the DC comic demigoddess Wonder Woman comes to life on the Big Screen in the shape and look of Gal Gadot.

Love her or hate her, Gal Gadot is definitely the woman everyone can't seem to get enough of. From her role as Gisele in Fast Five to becoming Wonder Woman, this ex-model, ex-beauty queen is fast rising and is definitely going to be very much around, and in our pretty (or not so pretty) faces a (while) long.

Gal Gadot-Varsano was born April 30, 1985 in Petah Tikva, Israel. She started her journey into the limelight as an Israeli model and won the 2004 Miss Israel beauty pageant as an 18 years old teenager. She enlisted in the Israeli military when she was 20 where she served as a combat trainer. This experience was useful for her role as Gisele Yashar in the Justin Lin directed movie Fast Five.

Gal Gadot once won the 2004 Miss Israel pageant

As a model, Gadot has worked with the likes of Huawei smartphones, Captain Morgan rum, Jaguar cars, Gucci Fragrance, Vine Vera skincare ranges etc. She has featured as the cover girl for magazines like Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Entertainment Weekly, Bride Magazine, Fashion, Cleo etc.
After Gal completed her two years service with the Israeli army, she went on to study law.

Gal Gadot has appeared in quite a handful of Hollywood movies such as the Tom Cruise-Cameron Diaz starred Knight and Day, Date Night, Triple 9, Criminal, Keeping up with the Joneses etc. She has also featured in some TV series like Entourage, The Beautiful Life etc.

Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman

“She shares every quality with Wonder Woman and that’s no joke. It’s one of those rare things. You need someone who can appear to be Wonder Woman on screen. That’s what you’re looking for—someone who can embody all of those attributes on screen.”--  Patty Jenkins

Her big break came when she was casted as Wonder Woman for the DC comics character. The movie was a critical and a box office success. Gal Gadot's performance has been praised by critics. Alonso Duralde of The Wrap wrote, "...Gal Dadot's turn as Princess Diana of Themyscira was a refreshing standout... she's as good as if not better headlining her own solo adventure..." Prior to Wonder Woman and Fast Five though, she once lost a part as Bond girl Camille Montes in Quantum of solace to, if my memory serves correct, Olga Kuriyenko. At any rate the same casting director that called her to that audition hired her for her role in Fast Five.

Perhaps, like the Chinese actor Jackie Chan, Gadot also do her own stunts. She expresses her delight in being able to do that instead of having a stuntwoman do that for her. Her military background is definitely serving her well.
