What Successful People Do To Get Ahead!

image credit jamesaltucher.com A certain farmer had become old and ready to pass his farm down to one of his two sons. When he brought his sons together to speak about it, he told them:  The farm will go to the younger son. The older son was furious!  “What are you talking about?!”  he fumed. The father sat patiently, thinking. “Okay,”  the father said,  “I need you to do something for me. We need more stocks. Will you go to Cibi’s farm and see if he has any cows for sale?” The older son shortly returned and reported,  “Father, Cibi has 6 cows for sale.” The father graciously thanked the older son for his work. He then turned to the younger son and said,  “I need you to do something for me. We need more stocks. Will you go to Cibi’s farm and see if he has any cows for sale?” The younger son did as he was asked. A short while later, he returned and reported,  “Father, Cibi has 6 cows for sale. A Success Story

A Success Story by Niel  Darusa 9 months ago I went to fix up my phone. It fell down and the screen was just scattered all over. I literally couldn’t see a thing on the screen. It was a Galaxy s6 plus to be precise. So I took the phone to a phone repairs shop nearby and when I got there I saw the guy Sleeping. For the sake of the synopsis let’s call him Jerry. Jerry was just sleeping on the table. Well not really on the table, he was sitting down with this head on the table while he dosed off. So I walked up to him and woke him up then I said “hi, I hope this is a good time for you, my phone has an issue and I’m here to fix it up”. He said “Oh yes sure, this is a great time really, I was just praying”. I laughed. He then said “Okay so what is the problem with your phone”. I gave him the phone and told him the issue with the phone and then we had a long conversation about the issue and how he is going to fix it up and the cost of fixing up the phone. A...

4 Secrets of Success

Photo credit theodesseyonline.com Of all the goals people set in life, two stand out: success in our personal and professional lives. It turns out, these two are interdependent. Personal success supports and reinforces professional success. Professional success reinforces personal success. And together, they reinforce life’s most important pursuit -- happiness. That’s why both goals are on top of everyone’s agenda, especially the 20-something generation, as they begin the life journey from their parents’ nest. How are these goals achieved? What does it take? If you ask Rhonday Byrne, she’d tell you it’s The  Law  of Attraction. Byrne argues in  The Secret  for the power of positive thoughts, which she says will act as a powerful magnet to bring things your way, and help you to identify and externalize your internal strengths and capabilities. Put good things in your mind, says Byrne, and they’ll happen. While positive thought may be a necess...

Together, those factors help you to take care of your psychological life and truly be successful, or as the title of her new book suggests, " Thrive ." Legendary basketball coach John Wooden says it's a matter of satisfaction. The Associated Press With  620 victories and 10 national titles , Wooden is the winningest coach in college basketb...
