AYbEatz: from a corner to the Limelight

The story of a gospel rap artiste and producer

"The result of challenge is what brings success... I started from a corner in my parent's home."

These few lines neatly sums up the story of, arguably, one of the best rising gospel music artistes and producers in Africa, AYbEatz.

His, has been a journey characterized by destiny and the leading of God's Holy Spirit.

Born Ayodeji Oluwatoyin Ayinde in Ogun State. The second of five children, AYbEatz's foray into gospel music wasn't by chance, neither was it as a result of talent.
"I see it as a calling."

It is truly a calling; a higher purpose of the divine set at work in a mortal man; a leading by the supernatural towards a noble end.

Although, in his days in secondary school, AYbEatz wanted to be a journalist. He had the passion for communicating with people, until destiny came calling.

It was in 2007, in a small, infant Christ Embassy Galilee church, that was just starting its journey to greatness, that AYbEatz encountered destiny. It was there he discovered the purpose for his life. It was there he learnt to play instruments. It was there he was inspired to be a producer.

He started out in a three man group called JAS. It was the during the production of one of their singles, Ambassadors of Christ, that he got noticed by the producer. Soon after, AYbEatz started a new journey in music production.

Within a short period of time, he had armed himself with the necessary skills a producer needs to successfully produce songs.

Starting out with barely nothing (he spoke about using TV Speakers, Church mics, hunchback monitors and others) AYbEatz went on to produce music for ministry giants such as Rap Nation's G-Clan, De-Ola, Fega Michael and Too Prolific. He has performed alongside gospel rapper,  TB1, who is famously known as the rapper behind award-winning gospel artiste, Frank Edwards' You too dey bless me single.

In the early days, AYbEatz had no studio, no record label, no artistes signed under him and barely enough money but all that has changed. He can boasts of not just having a studio, but also having four artistes signed to his label,  Zoe Nation Records. Artistes such as Emex,  Eddy,  Fave Blings and Sam Buchi, who he also trained as a producer along with five others.

AYbEatz is a gospel rapper. His songs have gone viral. Hit tracks like Na God dey high me, Kijo mole, and others have been downloaded multiple times on www.hulkshare.com/pumpinsproduction although, at the moment he hasn't released an album.

He has also collaborated with the likes of Fega Michael and G-Clan on soon to be released tracks.

Recently, he shot the video to his single, Panda ko, Jesu ni and looks forward to shooting the video for Kijo mole in 2017.

At first, he was known as AY Pumpin, while his record label, Pumpins Production, started in 2011. But in 2013, he changed his name and record label to AYbEatz and Zoe Nation Records respectively.

"We have done a lot, we've come a long way." , says he about his artistes and label.

The man who became a professional producer in 2009, two years after discovering his calling, has come a long way, overcame trying times and challenges, set and achieved goals, he his ready to do more.

In 2017, AYbEatz is aiming to shoot 8 videos, perform on the Christ Embassy international stage, get a LIMA (Loveworld International Music and Arts) awards among other lofty goals.

His success can be attributed to knowing his purpose in life, his persistence, his unwavering faith in the face of challenges and the support of parents, siblings,  Pastor, Christ Embassy Galilee members and those he surrounds himself with.

There is a brighter future to look forward to. This is the unending success story of AYbEtz, the gospel rap artiste and producer extraordinaire.
