 Before there was ever a Bieber, there was a Scooter Braun The man who was to present Justin Bieber to the world was born on June 18, 1981 in New York City and attended Greenwich High School.  Braun started his career by organizing parties during his studies at Emory University in Atlanta. According to Wikipedia, "Braun was hired, in 2002, to plan after-parties in each of the five cities on the Anger Management Tour, featuring Ludacris and Eminem".  This got him noticed by producer Jermaine Dupri, the director of So So Def Records.
